Abigail Rose Roznos was born in Downers Grove, Illinois, on July 28, 1997, and passed away in Bradenton, Florida, on October 6, 2025. With hearts full of love and sorrow, we remember Abbey—a beautiful soul whose light touched so many. Kind, beautiful, and patient, Abbey was known for her compassion, her gentle spirit, and a laugh so infectious it could fill a room and lift every heart around her.

Abbey found joy in life’s simple moments—spending time with her daughter, being on the water, reading, listening to music, decorating, and writing. She especially loved her days at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron and aboard her family’s many sailboats. The water was her sanctuary, a place where she felt most at peace among the sea breeze, dolphins, and sunshine. From a young age, Abbey’s imagination and kindness shone brightly—she would toss her pacifier off the boat so the baby sharks and dolphins could have a “pacie” too. Later, when it was time to give it up for good, her clever determination showed once more. She froze one in a cup of water so she could always look at it if she missed it. Her mom eventually found her carefully pouring hot water over the frozen cup, determined to get it back. These memories capture Abbey’s sweet, funny, and loving nature—a blend of creativity, humor, and perseverance that remained with her throughout her life.

Abbey was a devoted daughter, a loving sister, a loyal friend, and, most proudly, a wonderful mother to her beautiful daughter, Harley Rose. Her family meant everything to her—her mom and dad, her sister Hannah, and her grandparents. She shared a special bond with her pets, especially her beloved dogs, who stayed faithfully by her side.

Abbey’s love for family extended to all her aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones- each held a unique and treasured place in her life. Her warmth and kindness made everyone feel important, valued, and loved.

A gifted athlete, Abbey excelled as a cheerleader and in both soccer and softball. Later in life, her creativity and determination led her to build a successful company as a young adult- a reflection of her intelligence, vision, and drive. Beyond her accomplishments, Abbey’s greatest achievement was how she made people feel. Her compassion and kindness touched every person she met, and she had a rare ability to make others feel seen and special.

Abbey was deeply spiritual and carried a steadfast faith throughout her life. She often reminded those around her how much she loved them—no matter what—and her words and actions were a constant reminder of grace and love. She loved to make others laugh, often performing silly skits and bringing joy wherever she went.

Abbey will always be remembered for her kindness, her gentle strength, and the love she poured into everyone she met. Her memory will live on in every laugh, every prayer, and every act of kindness shared in her name.

Abbey’s kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
