Brenda Lee Scroggins

Brenda Lee Scroggins, 71, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. Born on December 3, 1953, in Petersburg, Virginia, Brenda lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

Brenda was known for her gentle kindness, warm presence, and gift for storytelling—she could fill a room with both comfort and joy just by sharing a memory or a moment from her life. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren, who were the greatest pride of her heart. She also treasured the many miles she and her husband shared together traveling by motorcycle, making memories on the open road.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, John Scroggins; her sons, Robert and David Conner; and her cherished grandchildren, Izzy and Felicity Conner, all of whom were blessed by her unwavering support, compassion, and the deep love she showed every day. She is also survived by her sisters, Joanne Conner and Frances LaBine, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Coco, her constant and loyal companion, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her warmth and generous spirit.

If Brenda could be remembered for just one thing, it would be her kindhearted spirit—always giving, always caring, and always there when someone needed her.

A celebration of life will be held on November 9th, 2025 at 1PM at A.L. Anderson Park, Shelter 8, Tarpon Springs, Florida. Please RSVP to bscrogginsmemorial@gmail.com by Thursday, November 6th, 2025 so we can plan accordingly. All who knew and loved Brenda are welcome.
