Brianna Elisabeth Maynard
Brianna Elisabeth Maynard, 27, of McDermott, Ohio, passed away on July 19, 2026. She was born on March 9, 1999, in Cincinnati. From the very beginning, Brianna carried a free spirit and a vibrant love for life that left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
Brianna had a deep passion for reading and could often be found with a book in hand. She was also a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan, with a special fondness for Brutus the Buckeye. Her enthusiasm and team spirit were just another reflection of her joyful personality. Most of all, Brianna was known for her beautiful smile and her loving spirit. She had a natural kindness about her and an ability to remain warm and compassionate, even when life was not easy. Those qualities defined her and shaped the way she moved through the world.
Family meant everything to Brianna. She cherished her parents, Anthony and Kristi, and shared a close bond with her siblings, Anthony II, Colt, Julie, and Erika. She was deeply loved by her grandparents Pat and Bobby and her Grandma Esther Collier, as well as by her uncles and aunts, Mark Barrett and Melissa Barrett, Mike Carver, Cindy Craver, and Jamie Newman, and her many cousins. Above all, Brianna’s greatest love was her son, Jackson. The love she had for him was constant and unwavering, and he was at the center of her heart. She also held a special place for Bubba and Ozzy, the family dogs who were part of her everyday life. Brianna was a member of the Country Side Church of Christ in Seaman, Ohio, where she found community and connection.
If Brianna could be remembered for one thing, it would be her kindness and the love she gave so freely—especially to her family and to her son. Her family is deeply grateful to everyone who has reached out with support and compassion during this difficult time. Brianna was a very special person and a beloved daughter, and she will always be remembered with love.
