Debra Strickland Irvine

Debra Strickland Irvine, born on July 14, 1958, in Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026. To those closest to her, she was lovingly known as Debbie or Deb. Her life was a tapestry of sentiment, whimsy, humor, and creativity, leaving behind a colorful legacy that reflected her wonderfully multifaceted spirit.

Those who knew Deb best would say that she was sentimental by nature, cherishing the little things that others might overlook—both in the people she loved and in the possessions that held special meaning to her.

At the heart of Debra’s world were the people she loved most. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edward Lee Strickland, Sr. and Mildred Banks Strickland, whom she loved dearly.

Debra is survived by her loving daughter, Emily Luker, and her husband, Joshua, along with their two young children; her son, Chad Irvine; her brother, Edward Lee Strickland Jr., and sister-in-law, Mary Strickland; and her cherished niece, Amy Hayes, her husband, Grant, and their children. Her friends and neighbors also held a special place in her heart. She found endless joy and companionship in her beloved cats, Toto and Daisy.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has surrounded them with kindness, prayers, and love during this time of mourning.
