She is remembered by her sons, Robert Benavides and his wife Katie, John Joe Benavides, and Kennie Rodgers and his wife Stacey Brooks-Ussery; her granddaughter, Alexandra Benavides; her great-granddaughter, Amelia Diaz; her sister, Dixie Corbett; and her niece, April Corbett. The bonds she built with them reflected her enduring commitment to those she loved.
