Dorothy Klodnicki
Dorothy H. (Keider) Klodnicki, age 87, entered into eternal rest, joyfully reunited with her beloved husband of 54 years, the late John Edward Klodnicki.
Cherished mother of Tina Cook (Charles) and Todd Klodnicki, and loving grandmother of Tyler Cook, Dorothy’s life was deeply rooted in faith, family, and service.
After 30 years of dedicated service with Ameritech, Dorothy embraced retirement as an opportunity to give back to her church and community. She served faithfully in many ministries and as President of the Cleveland Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, where her leadership, grace, and compassion touched countless lives.
Through the Telephone Pioneers, Dorothy shared her joyful spirit by clowning for 15 years, visiting schools across Ohio to teach children about 911 safety. She also served as Past President of the Women of St. Joseph and of the Our Lady of the Angels Women’s Guild Ministry, guiding others in faith and fellowship.
Among her many ministries, her greatest joy was in Faith Formation—teaching children the Catholic faith. Over the course of 34 years, both in Ohio and Florida, Dorothy inspired generations of young hearts to know and love God.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered for her devotion, kindness, and gentle spirit. Her legacy of faith, joy, and love will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.
