Ian Uriah Rickman
Ian Uriah Rickman was born on March 3, 1981, in Jackson, Michigan, and died on June 16, 2026. Though his time here was far too brief, Ian’s life was defined by love, generosity, and a free spirit that left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
Ian was loving, caring, and independent in the way he moved through the world. He had a big heart and was known for helping anyone in need, offering support without hesitation. Whether he was spending time gaming or playfully wrestling with family, he brought energy and laughter into everyday moments. One special memory that stands out is “Superman,” a reflection of the strength, imagination, and larger-than-life presence he carried in the hearts of those closest to him. Ian lived with a simple but powerful belief, often saying, “As long as we have each other we will be ok,” words that continue to comfort his family.
The most important people in Ian’s life were his mother, his sister, his brothers, and his children. His love for his family was constant and unwavering. If he could be remembered for one thing, it would be the deep love he had for them and the compassion he showed to people in need. He valued togetherness above all else and believed that family was a source of strength through any challenge.
His family is deeply grateful to everyone who has supported them during this time and for the prayers and kindness extended to them. Ian’s memory lives on in the love he shared so freely and in the bonds he cherished most.
