Jack Aubra Hart
Jack Aubra Hart, 82, of Nokomis, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025. Born March 28, 1943, in Versailles, Missouri, Jack lived a full and meaningful life defined by humor, resilience, and love for family and friends.
Jack was a Christian and a long-time member of AA, where he found purpose in supporting others on their journey to sobriety. Celebrated for his compassion and generosity, he was proud of his 30-plus years of sobriety and the many people he helped along the way.
Jack is survived by his son Roy Jack Hart, his daughter Jennifer (Mat) Carter, and grandchildren Jacob Hart, Jerry (Shelby) Carter, Hailey (Garrett) Smith, Jessica (Quenton) Adkins, and Macy (Alex) Finley; and great-grandchildren Ford Carter, Wrenlee Smith, and Grady Adkins, along with several nieces and nephews. He was also blessed with many dear friends who brought joy and companionship to his later years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Macy Elva Hart, brother Sonny, and sisters Gloria, Barbara, and Dolly.
He often shared words of encouragement that reflected how he lived:

Do something good for someone and expect nothing in return.
A graveside service will be held at Versailles Cemetery in Versailles, Missouri, on Saturday, October 18, at 11 a.m. Jack will be buried next to his parents and some of his siblings.
Those who knew him will remember his warm smile, good humor, and steady strength—qualities that made him a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.
