John David Crockett left our world early Saturday morning May 9, 2026 after a brief illness.

Originally from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania an Alum. of Upper Merion High School class of 1964. He enlisted in the Navy was a Gunfire Control Tech. on the USS Neosho AO-143 from 10/25/65 to 10/25/68 during the Viet Nam Era. John’s family originated in Tennessee David (Davy) Crockett is his Fourth Uncle.

Known as “Mister Fix It” he could repair or build anything. His Company was Diversified Home Solution. John was a special caring person that was there for his neighbor's friends and family for whatever they needed.

After moving to Dunedin John discovered his Special Family at VFW 2550 in Dunedin. John spent 10 years volunteering to park cars during Spring Training. He spent many hours enjoying the events and celebrations as a Navy Veteran.

John was a member of the Cigar Conclave formally held at the Dunedin Boat Club where he is known as “the Judge”.

John is survived by his wife Carol and furbaby Honey.  He also has Four Stepchildren Cathy Marincucci, George Fresolone, Cynthia Szakel and Elizabeth Ann Tornetta
