With love and deep respect, we honor the life of Johnny Lamar Albritton, Sr., affectionately known as Shippie, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on January 12, 1951, in Tampa, Florida, Johnny was a man remembered for his hard work, deep loyalty, and his devotion to his family.
Johnny had a passion for old cars and held a strong and enduring faith in God. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart. He was deeply compassionate and generous, always willing to lend a hand or offer support to anyone in need.
He was known for his big heart, his kindness toward others, and the way he lived his life in service to his family. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his kids—they couldn’t have asked for a better father.
Johnny will forever be remembered as an awesome father and grandfather. His legacy of love, trust, and unwavering support lives on through those who knew and loved him.
