Jose Cesar Dequesada

Jose Cesar Dequesada, 59, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025. Born on January 24, 1966, in Havana, Cuba, Jose was a man remembered for his caring nature, loving heart, and unwavering trustworthiness.

He was happiest when surrounded by family, especially his two beloved granddaughters, Yuleisy and Melody, and his cherished daughter, Yaneisy. Whether it was sharing laughs on FaceTime or simply enjoying quiet time in their company, his grandchildren were the light of his life. As babies, he’d make silly faces just to hear them laugh—and that joy never faded.

Jose had many passions: music, fishing, and, above all, spending time with his granddaughters. He also shared a special bond with his Chihuahua, Fatima, who passed away of old age after a long and loving life at his side. Though he originally had no interest in owning a pet, his heart melted the moment one tiny puppy chose him—climbing over to where he lay and settling in. From that day forward, she never left his side.

Jose’s family remembers his hardworking attitude—a trait that defined his life. He was always ready to lend a hand, provide for those he loved, and take on challenges with quiet strength and commitment.

He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, laughter, and love. His spirit lives on in the memories shared by those who knew him best.
