Judith Ann Campbell, 86, passed away on January 13, 2026. Born on December 28, 1939, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Judie was loving, caring, and funny—a woman whose quick wit and warm heart endeared her to everyone she met. A devout Catholic, she loved her faith, her church, and the priests who guided her spiritual life. She moved through the world with grace, kindness, and an unmistakable sense of style, always finding joy in looking after the people and creatures she loved most.

Judie built a proud and purposeful career, spending 27 years in Research at Johnson & Johnson. Her dedication, curiosity, and meticulous nature were hallmarks of her professional life and reflected the same spirit she brought to her passions at home. Above all, Judie was a gourmet cook—her greatest pride—and she practiced the craft with elegance and generosity, nourishing others with both her food and her affection. She loved the golf course, working hard to learn the game and delighting in time spent in the golf cart beside her husband, sometimes with a dog happily along for the ride. She treasured simple, perfect moments: a quiet walk, or an afternoon on the porch swing with her husband and their dogs, content in the life they built together.

Judie’s love story with her husband, Larry Wickline, began with a moment that captured her humor and charm. After a real estate deal in which she purchased a condo beneath his, she broke the ice with a line they both loved to remember: “Where do I put the trash?” From that lighthearted beginning grew a deep and joyful partnership. Judie often said, “I’m glad that we have the life together we have now, I’ve never been so happy.” She was most known for her cooking, her kindness, and her love of fashion, and she poured these qualities into every day they shared.

Judie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Larry, and by the four-legged family who brought her such delight over the years: Buffy and Abby (deceased), and her cherished companions Junebug and Izzy. Her life was a testament to devotion—to faith, to family, to the comfort of home and the joy found in loyal friendship, good food, and easy laughter. Her quick wit, tender heart, and gentle presence will be dearly missed and forever treasured.

From Larry: Judie, please know that you were the love of my life, and thank you for the memories of us that we’ve shared over our time together. Know you have been and always will be loved.
