Kathy Dennewitz

With love and heartfelt remembrance, we honor the life of Kathy Dennewitz, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on August 22, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio, Kathy was known for her loving heart, great sense of humor, and unshakable strength.

Kathy had a passion for shopping, fashion, music, and interior decorating. She was known to match head to toe every single day and had a Temu cart that was always full. Her Christmas shopping was always done by August, and she took joy in thoughtfully preparing for every occasion well in advance—especially when it came to spoiling her grandchildren.

Her life was guided by her Greek Orthodox faith, and her kind demeanor, sociable spirit, and generous heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Kathy was quick to laugh at a joke and never missed an opportunity to participate in a prank, always keeping the people around her smiling.

Above all, family and grandchildren were the most important part of Kathy’s life. She was known for giving of herself freely, always willing to lend a hand—not for recognition or reward, but simply because she cared.
