Larry LaCroix, Jr.
Larry LaCroix, Jr., 58, of North Fort Myers, FL, passed away on September 24, 2025. Born on January 7, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, Larry will be remembered as a loving, dedicated, and hardworking man who cherished his family above all else.
Larry was best known for his dedication to his job and the people he worked with, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike over a career spanning almost 40 years. His loyalty and reliability left a lasting impact on everyone around him. At home, he was not only an incredible father and husband, but also a best friend and true partner to those closest to him.
A dreamer at heart, Larry spoke often of his wish to one day live on a sailboat and sail the world after retirement. His sense of humor was equally unforgettable—he was known for quips like “There is always Barber College” and the practical advice “If you can move it, it’s not broke.” That advice once famously backfired when his wife ended up in urgent care with a broken finger—a story the family recalls with laughter and love.
He is survived by his wife, Kim, his son, Chance, and his extended family, all of whom he loved deeply. He is preceded in death by his father Larry LaCroix Sr, Stepmother Louise Zwayer-LaCroix, Mother Mauve Kerr, and Stepfather Tom Kerr.
Larry’s family shares this message:
“Larry was loved and will be missed by so many people whose lives he touched—not just family and friends, but former co-workers who reached out with love, sympathy, and disbelief that he is no longer with us. Chance and I appreciate you all.”
In honor of Larry, the family encourages donations to your local Hospice or a favorite charity.
