Lawrence Scott Eustis
Lawrence Scott Eustis, 62, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born on April 1, 1964, in Farmington, Maine, Lawrence lived a life defined by generosity, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to his family. Known to many simply as Scott, he carried himself with a quiet strength and an open heart that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Scott was most known for his willingness to help. Whether someone needed practical support, steady advice, or simply a listening ear, he was the kind of person who showed up. His kindness and generosity extended especially to those facing difficult times, and he gave freely of himself without expecting anything in return. He found great joy in music and movies, and some of his happiest moments were spent sharing those interests with the people he loved. Above all, he treasured family time. Scott often reminded others, “Don’t sweat the small stuff,” a reflection of his steady outlook and his belief in focusing on what truly matters.
The most important people in Scott’s life were his daughter, Rachel; his son-in-law, Matt; and his grandson, Sonny. He also held close bonds with his mother, Shirley, and stepfather, Denny; his sister, Yvonne, and brother, James; his stepmother, Marilyn; his stepbrothers, Darren and B.J.; his former wife, Kim; as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends. Each relationship was meaningful to him, and he valued the time and memories they shared.
Scott will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, and the way he quietly stepped in when others were in need. His family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU nurses and doctors who cared for him at ORMC; their care and compassion were a great comfort during such a difficult time. His example of generosity and love will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
