Linda Joyce Johnson
Linda Joyce Johnson, 69, of North Fort Myers, passed away on July 24, 2025. Linda was known for her giving spirit, loving nature, and joyful sense of fun. She filled every room with laughter and warmth, and her adventurous heart led her to live life with generosity and humor.
A proud member of Open Bible Community Church, Linda found joy in her faith and her church community. She was a regular at the Church Flea Market and loved being part of events that brought people together. Whether she was singing karaoke, performing in a swamp buggy parade, or sharing stories about her role as an angel in a school play, Linda embraced every moment with enthusiasm.
Her passions included collecting, music, and reading. Linda believed that "people should be forgiving" and that "everything happens for a reason," wisdom she shared often with those around her. Her smile, above all else, left a lasting mark on everyone she met.
Linda is survived by her beloved siblings: Freddy Hamm, Billy Hamm, Ricky Hamm, and Betty Nowling, all of North Fort Myers; and Mary Vadnais of Bedford, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Carlene Hamm; brothers Bobby and David Hamm; and sister Carol Wilson.
Her greatest joys in life were her family, her church, and her friends, who meant the world to her.
A memorial celebration will be held to honor Linda’s life on Friday, August 1st at 4:00pm at Open Bible Community Church (17331 Slater Rd, North Fort Myers, FL 33917). The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Linda’s church, family, and friends for their prayers and support.
