Lisa Tracey Vigus

Lisa Tracey Vigus, a loving, caring, and open-hearted soul, was born on May 29, 1971, in Akron, Ohio, and passed away on November 3, 2025, in Auburndale, Florida. Lisa’s life was a reflection of kindness, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to helping others.

Born with a generous spirit, Lisa found her true calling as a caregiver. Her work was more than a career—it was her purpose. She cared deeply for the elderly and gave her time selflessly to ensure others felt valued and loved. Whether through her role as a caregiver or her volunteer work with her Lutheran church’s young women’s ministry, Lisa’s heart for service touched everyone who knew her.

Lisa found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for music of all kinds, a love of exploring thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets, and an incredible green thumb that filled her home with plants. Her laughter was infectious, her smile constant, and her words—especially her favorite, “I love you”—were genuine and freely given.

She was deeply loved by those closest to her: Jesse Pierson, her father Ron Vigus, her son Tyler Setree, her sisters Mona and Mari-Lyn, her brother William, aunt Sally Haller, cousins Glenn and Julie, Patty and Herb Day, Sister Georgene, and her beloved “Pepsi Mom,” Pat Wolgamott. Lisa also shared a special bond with her cherished dogs, Chico (17) and Zarita (7), who brought her great comfort and joy.

Lisa will be remembered most for her willingness to help anyone in need and for the warmth she brought into every room. To all those who knew Lisa, thank you for being part of her life.

In honor of Lisa’s generous spirit, the family suggests donations be made to local animal shelters or veterans’ organizations—two causes close to her heart.
