Mark Densmore Davis lived his life like a storm. He entered this world in Inglewood, California, on August 19, 1966, and spent over half a century leaving an indelible mark on the state of Texas. On Friday, August 28, 2026, in Celebration, Florida, he left us just as he lived—like thunder. For 40 years, Mark was a master painter and a true craftsman. He possessed an unwavering work ethic and a sharp eye for detail, bringing color and vibrant life to countless local buildings and landmarks. His professional legacy is built into the very fabric of our community. But Mark’s passion extended far beyond his trade. He was a man who broke the rules and lived fiercely. That same thunderous energy was channeled into protecting his sisters, a duty he held sacred. Mark will be remembered as a dedicated craftsman, a protective son, father, brother, significant other, and a powerful force who changed the room the moment he walked into it.Mark was survived by his significant other Sarah Leeson Smith of Lake Helen, Fl and loyal companion Gizmo along with his mother Waynette Sue Brooks Weaver of Orange City, Fl and step mother Patricia Davis of Garland, Tx his son Joseph Densmore McIntyre of Manteca, Ca, daughter Stacey Lynn (Creston) Callis of SA, Tx,son Jud Densmore Davis of Victoria, Tx, and daughter Chelsie Ann Richardson of Victoria, Tx and grandson Bryson Delon Callis of SA, Tx, granddaughter Gracelyn Brielle Callis of SA, Tx and grandson Bowen Levi Espinosa of Victoria, Tx along with sister's  Diana Burrough of Laurel, MS, Debra Lyndsey of Nixon, Tx, Cynthia (Lloyd) Zarate of Boerne, Tx, Stefannie (Ronald) Falstreau of Orange City, Fl, Christine (Cynthia) Flores of Bloomington, Tx, brother Kelly (Molly) Hons of Karnes City, Tx, sister Charlotte Davis of Richardson, Tx, brother James Fields of Houston, Tx, sister Tracy ( Marco) Flores of SA, Tx, and sisters Lisa Nims of Grand Prairie, Tx and Jonica(Tony) DeLaRosa of Ranger, Tx along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.Preceded by death are Father Jud Densmore Davis of Garland, Tx Grandparents Roy and Amy Brooks of Victoria, Tx and grandma Royetta Davis Walker of Garland, Tx and niece Tiffani Peacock of Edna, Tx.Services will be held at the WAVA center at200 N. He was a jack of all trades. He could do landscaping like no other to hanging sheet rock with one hand. We never met anyone who could make a car run off a coke can like he could. He will be truly missed by his very large loving family.
