Michael Spinnato

Michael Spinnato, 93, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. Born on September 11, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, Michael lived a full and meaningful life defined by service, generosity, and deep family bonds.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, a testament to his courage and sense of duty. After his service, he devoted his life to his family, becoming the foundation on which generations were built.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean, with whom he shared 64 beautiful years of marriage before her passing in 2019. Their love was the centerpiece of his life—Jean was truly the light of his eye, and their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Michael was the proud father of four children: Charles; Joyce; Lisa and Michael. Lisa’s husband Frank and Michael’s wife Alyssa. He was a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren: Larissa (and her husband Jesse), Kristie (and her husband Nick), Danielle, Maria (and her husband Anthony), Frankie, Lisette, Jared, and Jenna. He was also blessed with six great-grandchildren: Jason, Logan, Leighton, Alessia, Leo, and Luca.

Known affectionately as the family handyman, Michael was a man who could always be counted on. Whether fixing something around the house or offering a helping hand, he gave selflessly and without hesitation. His loving, caring, and dependable nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Above all else, Michael loved his family beyond measure. He was their rock, their guide, and their greatest supporter. His legacy will live on through the lives he shaped, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
