

Miriam Lucille Wells
With love and gratitude, we remember the life of Miriam Lucille Wells, who passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on August 6, 1936, Miriam was a longtime resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, and will be remembered for her quiet strength, creativity, and love for her family.
Miriam enjoyed spending time outdoors, sewing, and making handcrafted items that brought beauty and warmth to those around her. Her hands were rarely still—she found joy in the little things and took pride in creating lasting memories through her hobbies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Miriam and Elmer Fanter, and her beloved granddaughter, Christine.
She is survived by her children: Sandy Gibbs (and husband Chuck) of West College Corner, Indiana; Mary Rathburn of St. Petersburg, Florida; Joann Beaupre' of St. Petersburg, Florida; and Elmer Jackson (and wife Amy) of Adairsville, Georgia.
Miriam was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous joy and love throughout her life.
Miriam’s kind heart and creative spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
