Patsy Lee Soderberg

Patsy Lee Soderberg, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on May 16, 1948, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Patsy will be remembered as beautiful, strong, and loving—a woman whose creativity and spirit touched everyone around her.

Patsy had many passions in life, with her greatest being family, art, and gardening. Her remarkable talent as an artist was recognized through numerous awards for her artwork, and she expressed her creativity in countless ways. Family was always at the center of her world, and she poured her love into being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jack M. Soderberg; her children and their spouses, Christopher J. Soderberg & Jeanine Lawyer, Kenneth J. Soderberg & Florence Soderberg, Jennifer S. Hopkins & Daniel Hopkins Sr., Dorie Tessenear & Michael Tessenear, and Patsy M. Steele & Jimmy Steele; her siblings, Jenni Colson, David Colson, Cathy Lecceardone, and Vincent Colson; and her nieces and nephews, Paris Faye, Johnny Colson, and Jessica Colson. Patsy was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 4 great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

Patsy’s creativity and determination were matched by her feisty and loving spirit. She shared a special bond with her horse, Candy, who she often said taught her a great deal about herself. Her family and friends will always remember her for her extraordinary talent, her love of art, and the strength she showed throughout her life.

She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and creativity will live on in her artwork and in the hearts of her family.
