Randy Dale Lonsbury

Randy Dale Lonsbury, 73, of Riverview, FL, passed away on September 22, 2025. Born on June 26, 1952, in Angola, Indiana, Randy will be remembered as a man defined by family, heart, and loyalty.

Randy proudly served his country and retired with the rank of SSGT/E5. His service reflected the dedication and discipline he carried throughout his life. Beyond his military achievements, Randy was an active member of the Disabled American Veterans Clearwater #11, where he found both camaraderie and purpose in giving back to his fellow veterans.

His greatest joys were found in the things he loved most: cars, traveling, and books. Randy was known for his kindness, generosity, and his love for family gatherings. No matter the occasion, he valued the time spent together with those closest to him. He was also known for his lighthearted humor and his trademark phrase:

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Carma Lonsbury. He is survived by his three siblings, Rex Lonsbury, Diann (Pete) Harvey, and Sandi MacPherson, as well as his seven nieces and nephews: Bryton (Tiffany) MacPherson, Bryana (Bobby) Stoller, Patrick (Heather) Lonsbury, Abigail Lonsbury, Michelle (Nick) Rodriguez, Franchesca (Steven) Snailum, and Chelsea Talamante. He was also a proud great-uncle to 17 great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his family, Randy will be deeply missed by his best friend, Earl Hughes, who shared in so many of life’s journeys with him.

Randy’s memory will be cherished for his unwavering devotion to family, his warmth, and his loyal spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
