Raymond Devon Haynes, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, was born on December 1, 1989, in Fairfax, Virginia, and passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 36. A resident of Saint Cloud, Florida, Raymond’s life was filled with creativity, laughter, and a spirit that touched everyone he encountered.

Known for his kindness and generosity, Raymond had an infectious smile and a sense of humor that could light up any room. A talented storyteller and writer, he also enjoyed drawing, reading, riding his e-bike, playing cards, and watching movies. His adventurous spirit was evident from his days as a great AAU basketball player to his moments spent enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Raymond was deeply loved by his family, including his parents, Robert and Alethea Haynes; siblings Marcus Dewberry, Raquel Haynes, and Randall Haynes; and sons Jahvari Freeman and Gihelle Haynes. He cherished his relationships with his nephew Little Marcus Dewberry and close friend Kerry Laurent, among many others. Raymond’s journey into the Muslim faith added a new dimension to his life, enriching his spiritual path.

The family fondly recalls Raymond's amusing adventures, like the time he bit the family dog back after being nipped or when he ended up in a pool full of frogs while playing basketball with his nephew. Such stories capture the essence of a man who embraced life with humor and independence.

In the words he often shared, "You need to be stopped," Raymond expressed a playful nature that will be sorely missed but vividly remembered. His family invites contributions in his memory to the Orlando Family Stage's youth education program, supporting young people in creative writing and the performing arts.
