Roberto Rivera

Roberto Rivera, born on December 19, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on July 29, 2026. Roberto was cherished by many for his humility, loyalty, and humor, attributes that defined the essence of his character.

A devoted fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Roberto found great joy in participating in a fantasy baseball league. His love for sports extended to wrestling, Ultraman, and Godzilla, where his enthusiasm was both infectious and heartfelt. Roberto also cherished his trips to Disney World with friends, creating memories filled with laughter and adventure.

Roberto's faith was a cornerstone of his life. As a ministerial servant at his local Jehovah's Witness congregation, he was a dedicated member of the Windermere Spanish Congregation in Orlando, Florida. He is remembered for his gentle heart and the unique nicknames he lovingly crafted for everyone he knew.

The youngest of eleven siblings, Roberto was deeply connected to his family, both biological and spiritual. He is survived by his siblings Benjamin, Francisco, Raymond, Haydee, Carmen, and Marta, alongside numerous nieces and nephews. He shared an unbreakable bond with his lifelong friends, Mike Peralta and Wally Rios. Though predeceased by his parents, Eduardo and Eduarda Rivera, and siblings Eduardo Jr., Ricardo, Maria, and Maritza, Roberto's spirit continues to inspire those he loved, including his kitten Cocoa, who recently passed.

Remembered most for his humility, Roberto’s life was a testament to kindness and laughter. His family extends heartfelt gratitude to his friends for their unconditional love and support throughout his life.
