Ryan Christopher Huntt
Ryan Christopher Huntt, 48, passed away on June 6, 2026. Born on July 25, 1977, in Monterey, California, Ryan brought a sharp mind and unmistakable wit into the world—qualities that would come to define him throughout his life.
Sarcastic, introverted, and deeply thoughtful, Ryan was known for his intelligence and his quiet but powerful presence. He excelled academically, participating in the honors program during school and earning his Associate’s Degree. Those who knew him best appreciated not only his intellect but the way he used it—through humor, storytelling, and perfectly timed remarks that could lighten even the heaviest moment. He loved comic collecting and drawing, often immersing himself in the worlds of Star Wars and his favorite movies. A devoted Florida Gators fan and enthusiastic trivia buff, Ryan found joy in knowledge and the simple pleasure of sharing it. He often joked, “My name is Jeff,” a line delivered with impeccable timing that became part of his signature humor.
Family meant everything to Ryan. He shared a lifelong bond with his sister Megan and his brother Sean. As children, when Sean found himself in an altercation with neighborhood kids, Ryan showed up without hesitation and scared them off—a moment that reflected the quiet loyalty and protectiveness that defined him. He held close relationships with his grandfather Harry and his father Andy, and he found comfort and companionship in his beloved dogs, Xander, Maggie, and Lily.
If Ryan could be remembered for one thing, it would be that he always had the right words at the right moment. Whether through humor, insight, or quiet understanding, he left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him. The family wishes to thank the friends and family who have always been there for Ryan and who continue to carry his memory forward with love.
