Scott Thomas Henderson, a kind-hearted, artistic, and funny soul, passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on June 2, 1976, in Syracuse, New York, Scott was known for his quick wit, generous spirit, and the way he loved his children and family without condition. He had an unmistakable talent for making people laugh and brightening any room he entered, leaving a trail of warmth, humor, and music in his wake.

Music was Scott’s lifelong passion. He found solace and joy in playing his guitar, often slipping on a favorite pair of sunglasses before strumming the first chords—a familiar sight to those who loved him. Whether sharing a song at a family gathering or getting lost in melody on a quiet evening, Scott used music to connect, to comfort, and to celebrate. He was equally enthusiastic about sports, eager for any chance to watch a game, cheer on a team, and share the moment with others. Scott’s creativity, easy laugh, and open heart shaped a life rich in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. Above all, he treasured time with his children, always leading with patience, humor, and love.

Scott is survived by those he cherished most: his children, Alex, Zachery, and Katie; his mother, Jeanine Luzzi; his father, Pete Henderson, and Kay; his brother, Joe; and his sister, Kristin. He also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will remember his kindness, his unwavering support, and his gift for lifting spirits. To his family, Scott was a steady presence—devoted, playful, and endlessly caring. To his friends, he was the one who showed up, cracked the joke when it was most needed, and made sure everyone felt seen and included.

A Memorial of Life will be scheduled to honor Scott, with details to be shared at a later date. In the meantime, the family invites all who knew him to remember Scott by playing a favorite song, sharing a story that brings a smile, or extending a simple kindness in his name—gestures that reflect the heart of who he was. His melody continues in the laughter he inspired, the love he gave so freely, and the many lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing and his song never fade.
