Seth Mann
Seth Mann, 68, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on June 7, 2026. He was born in Springfield, Vermont on December 17, 1957. Seth raised his family in Coxsackie, New York, and built a life defined by kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity-qualities that shaped his relationships and left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Seth was a steady and supportive presence to many, a true rock for his family and friends. Known for his deep thinking and gift for storytelling, he had a way of drawing others in, whether sharing a lesson learned or recounting a well told tale. He found great joy on the golf course, appreciated the camaraderie of the game, and valued the time spent outdoors. His faith was central to his life, and he was an active member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Through his involvement in church and community service, Seth quietly gave of himself, offering time, care, and encouragement wherever it was needed. He often reminded those around him, “Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger,” words that reflected both his resilience and his desire to uplift others.
Above all, Seth cherished his family. He shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Rachel Mann, and took great pride in his children, Stuart Mann and Joey Mann, and his daughter-in-law, Grace Mann. His grandchildren—Ellie Man, Jonah Mann, and Andrew Mann—brought him immense joy. He also held a special bond with his siblings, Daulton Mann and Catherine Mann. Seth’s love for his family was steady and enduring, expressed not only in words but in everyday acts of support, guidance, and care.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Seth’s memory to the American Cancer Society. The Mann family wishes to thank their relatives and friends for the tremendous amount of support and love shown during this time, and they will carry Seth’s strength and generosity forward in his honor.
