Shanen Renee Taylor

Shanen Renee Taylor, 39, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.  Clearview Cremation of Tampa, Fla., is assisting the family.

Shanen was born June 29, 1986, in Amory, Miss.  She was loved by her family and friends.  Shanen was a 2004 Haleyville High School graduate and a 2008 graduate of the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, with a bachelor’s degree in fashion design.  Shanen was talented in so many ways.  Not only did she design clothes, but she was an artist.  Along with her partner, Tanner, she would hand paint custom guitars that were auctioned off for charities.  Every year, she would donate her time for the Lupus Foundation.  Shanen was full of life.  She always knew how to find laughter in the darkest moment.

Shanen is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Patricia Taylor; sisters, Skye Miller (Cameron) and Savanna Durham (Nick); her life partner, Tanner Monroe and her grandma, Carrie Fisher.

Shanen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Shirley Cooper and grandpa, Robert Fisher.
