A hero in life, a legend in memory

2 Timothy:  4-7

I have fought the good fight

I have finished the race

I have kept the faith.

Steve was proceeded in death by parents Katherine and John Jamison. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Kathy Sue Jamison (Susie), and his three children, daughter Angela Parks, her husband Brian Parks, daughter Katie Sigfried, her husband Matt Sigfried, and only son Jonathon Jamison. Three grandchildren Max, Nate, and Zachariah. His brother Mike Jamison, Mike's wife Mary, and sister Barbara Jamison. Sisters in law Davida, Jeannie, Colleen and brother in law Earl, and numerous neices and nephews and other family and friends. At 69 years old, Steve lost his very hard fought battle with cancer. He was born in Alabama, a state he always loved and talked about. He was a proud patriot who served his country in the United States Navy for 4 years. Steve spent most of his life in the Chicagoland area, where he raised his family until moving them to Park Ridge, Illinois. Steve was also a proud Iron worker and member of Iron Workers  Local 1 for the majority of his life. In retirement, he moved to his beloved Alabama with his wife. He spent the last several years with his wife in Homosassa Florida.

Steve served and loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart and put all of his faith and trust in him.

Steve will always be remembered for his big wide smile, his thumbs up,  his hearty contagious laugh, his generous nature, his love for music, great food, and traveling, but most of all he will be remembered for the way he deeply loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and all his family and extended family.
