Susan Elaine McCue, 69, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Mansfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Thelma and Ernest Crocker. She devoted her life to her husband John McCue and had recently celebrated 47 years of loving marriage and a lifetime of memories.
Susan was a loving mother to her four sons, Shaun and his wife Anny, Michael and his wife Marley, Kevin and his wife Cassie, and Ryan and his wife Shannon. Her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren: Charlie, Penelope, Harper, Jack, Wesley and Callen.
Susan worked for many years as a bus driver for Mansfield Public Schools and Southeastern Regional Vocational School. Those who knew Susan will remember her above all as a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and caring sister. Known as a fun loving-adventurer, her family was the center of her world, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through the generations.
In addition, Susan is survived by her siblings, Albert Dugan, Carl Lemke, and his wife Trish, and Carolyn Westberg. She was predeceased by her brothers, Bernard and Ernie Crocker, and her sister, Diane Jasperson.
Private services to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
