Thomas Carpenter
Thomas Warren Carpenter, 82, passed away on November 24, 2025. Born on October 23, 1943, in Leoni, Michigan, Thomas will be remembered as a caring, hard-working, and passionate man whose stories could fill a room and linger long after with warmth and laughter. His was a life defined by devotion—devotion to family, to honest work, and to the pursuits that sparked his curiosity and joy.
Thomas served his country with pride in the United States Air Force, an experience that shaped his steadfast character and quiet sense of duty. In the years that followed, he brought the same integrity and determination to his working life, standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow workers as a proud member of the Teamsters. He had a lifelong love for cars and motorcycles, embracing the freedom of the open road and the satisfaction of a well-tuned engine. Whether swapping stories in a driveway or sharing a laugh around the table, Thomas had a gift for making people feel at home. He worked hard, he showed up, and he took joy in the simple things—time well spent, a project done right, and the company of those he loved.
Above all, Thomas was a family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his daughter, Destiny; and his son, Lloyd, each of whom he cherished and supported with unwavering pride. He was also fond of his beagle, Suzie, whose loyal companionship brought him daily comfort and delight. Thomas leaves behind extended family and friends who will miss his humor, generosity, and the way his stories brought people closer together. Those who knew him best will remember that his greatest achievements were not trophies or titles, but the relationships he nurtured and the example he set.
Thomas’s legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and wholehearted passion. In honoring his memory, may we take a moment to share a favorite story, extend a helping hand, or enjoy a quiet drive—small gestures that reflect the spirit he carried throughout his life. He lived with purpose, loved without reservation, and left the world a little better through his work, his friendship, and his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
