Thomas Francis Shore, III, born March 29, 1946, in New York, passed away on August 29, 2026. He was known for his infectious humor, loving nature, and caring heart. A true New Yorker at heart, Tom cherished his family deeply and made a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Tom had a passion for collecting, whether it was baseballs or coins, and he relished watching episodes on A&E. His larger-than-life personality shone through in his devotion as a father and grandfather. He proudly obtained a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook and successfully launched his own baseball business. Those who knew Tom often remarked on his unique gift for finding potential in what others overlooked. He believed in the value of restoration and renewal—a philosophy that mirrored his outlook on life.

He was a proud father to his daughter Meghan and sons Ryan, Dylan, and Tommy and Jake, who predeceased him. Tom adored his grandchildren, Rylan, Ava, Alexis, Brody, and Grayson, and was a loving grandfather even to his grand dog Romo. His siblings, Sean, Timmy, and Patti, were also central figures in his life.

Tom was renowned for his sense of humor and had a favorite saying, often telling others with a smile: “Bumble bee lips and a butterfly ass.” This light-hearted spirit, coupled with his profound love for family, defined his legacy. His family will carry forward the warmth and laughter he brought into their lives.
