Thomas Franklin Pierce, Sr., born on April 25, 1934, in Lewiston, Maine, passed away on September 13, 2026. Known for his outgoing nature, quick wit, and infectious sense of fun, Thomas lived a life marked by loyalty and a strong work ethic.

His passions were as diverse as they were fervent. A devoted enthusiast of puzzles, he often spent hours unraveling their mysteries. Thomas was a proud supporter of New England sports teams and found joy in the landscapes and spirit of his beloved Maine. An avid golfer, he enjoyed the camaraderie and challenge the sport offered. His service as a veteran stands as a testament to his dedication and commitment.

Family was at the heart of Thomas’s world. His wife, Jeannine Carson Pierce, was his steadfast companion through life's journey. Together, they raised three children: daughters Pamela (Stephen) Perry and Susan (Frank) Metzler, and son Thomas Pierce Jr. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Stephen (Maggie) Perry, John (Michelle) Perry, Lindsay (Jim) Shannon, Madeline Perry, Claire Metzler, Carson Metzler, Owen Metzler, and Declan Pierce, as well as three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
