Tiffany Wimes
A Life of Light and Laughter Tiffany Michele Wimes, a radiant soul and a lifelong Floridian, passed away on April 27, 2026 , leaving behind a legacy of kindness that will never be forgotten. Born on July 23, 1974, in Fort Pierce, Florida, to Geletha Reynolds and the late Andrew Wimes, Jr., Tiffany carried the warmth of the Florida sun in her spirit wherever she went.
A proud 1992 graduate of Fort Pierce Westwood High School, Tiffany was known for her hard work and dedication. She spent many years as a shift manager in the service industry, where her leadership was defined by the same helpfulness she showed in her personal life. Though illness led to her retirement in 2018, it never dimmed her vibrant personality or her love for those around her.
A Heart That Gave Everything To know Tiffany was to know joy. She possessed the kind of smile that didn't just light up a room—it transformed it. Her laugh was infectious, a gift she shared freely with everyone she met. Tiffany was a "giver" in the truest sense of the word; she was the person who would give the shirt off her back without a second thought. Even in her final moments, her focus remained on others, proving that her generosity knew no bounds.
Tiffany’s philosophy on life was simple yet profound: she never said "goodbye." To her, goodbyes were too final. Instead, she always said, "See you later." It was her promise that even though we may be apart for a moment, the bond of love is never truly broken, and a reunion awaits.
Family and Legacy Tiffany’s greatest treasure was her family. She is reunited in eternal rest with her father, Andrew Wimes, Jr.; her beloved sister, LaTesha Miller-Henderson; and her special uncle and aunt, Albert Miller, Jr. and Earnestine Wimes.
Her memory will be cherished forever by her devoted husband, Jerell Ansley and her "puppy-son," Peanut, who brought her endless companionship. Her mother, Geletha Reynolds; her mother-in-law, Jeanette (Kenneth) Ansley-Pilgram; her brother, Randall (LaCuanda) Lloyd; Her aunts, Margaret, Jennifer, and Frances Reynolds, her uncle, Dale (Decreta) King; her sister-in-law, LaTisha Jackson and brother-in-law, Perry Mason; she also leaves her two special brothers, Cedric (Carolyn) Wimes and Tim Wimes of Savannah, Georgia, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who were blessed to be part of her journey.
As we carry her in our hearts, we don’t say goodbye. We simply say, "See you later, Tiffany."
