Tonya Denise Beasley
Tonya Denise Beasley, 53, passed away on May 3, 2026. She was born on July 31, 1972, in Baltimore, Maryland, a city that remained part of her story throughout her life. Known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and caring nature, Tonya leaves behind memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Tonya was most recognized for her beautiful smile — a smile that reflected her warmth and the genuine way she treated others. She had a love for shopping, finding joy not only in the experience itself but in the simple pleasure of picking out things for herself and those she loved. Her strength was evident in every chapter of her life, especially in her remarkable milestone of beating cancer, a testament to her resilience and determination. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, her faith was a meaningful part of her life and guided her values and outlook.
Family meant everything to Tonya. She treasured her children, Trevon and Shatanya, and took great pride in being their mother. She also shared a close bond with her mother, Phyllis Lane, and her brothers, Gerald and James Lane. One fond memory that remains is when she took her brothers to see the movie CB4 on Easter Sunday — a simple but joyful moment that captured her fun-loving spirit and the way she created lasting memories with those around her.
If Tonya could be remembered for one thing, it would be her smile — the way it brightened a room and made others feel at ease. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was loved dearly, and her kindness and warmth will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
