William Edward Quinn, Jr.
William Edward Quinn, Jr., 41, of New Jersey, passed away on July 27, 2026. Born on December 6, 1984, William brought warmth, humor, and a generous spirit into the lives of those who knew him. Described as loving, a “giant teddy bear,” and a man with a big heart, he was known above all for the way he cared for others and the joy he found in his family.
William was a born-again Christian whose faith shaped the direction of his life. He was an active part of Eleven 22 Church and the Freedom Foundation, and he felt a true calling to serve within his church community. He loved reading his Bible and was excited to embrace sober living as part of his renewed commitment to faith and purpose. William had a natural ability to work with his hands and mind—taking apart and fixing computers, phones, and just about anything elsethat needed repair. At sixteen, he proudly created a three-wheeler that earned him an invitation to ride in a Main Street parade, stereo blasting. In just three days before Thanksgiving, he helped build a twenty-by-twenty addition with his brothers, a testament to his determination and teamwork.
He was devoted to his mom and to his family, who were the most important people in his life. William is survived by his mother, Josephine, his father, William, his son, Billy, his two brothers, Joseph and Michael, his sister-in-law, Nicole, and his four nieces, Annella, Avalinna, Amalee and Faith, and his two nephews, Michael and Dominic.
Protective by nature, William looked out for everyone he met. He loved to make people laugh and had a playful spirit, once wearing an octopus hat his mom made to a convention—an outfit that became a highlight of the event. Each night, he would gently say, “Sleep with the angels,” to his mom and to Faith, a small but tender reflection of his loving heart.
William will be remembered for his laughter, his service, and the way he made others feel safe and cared for. His family holds close the love he gave so freely. He will never be forgotten, loved forever. Fly high.
